Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 · Tirane → Berat
Leave Tirana in the morning and stop in the Durres beach area on the way. Reach Berat around midday and visit the historic Gorica, Mangalemi and Kala quarters, part of the UNESCO site since 2008. Lunch at a traditional restaurant in the castle, a walk through the castle for the views, then hotel check-in in the evening.
Day 2 · Berat → Gjirokaster
Approximately 180 km and 3 hours by car. Visit Gjirokastër Castle and the UNESCO city, inscribed in 2005.
Day 3 · Gjirokaster → Permet → Korce
Approximately 200 km and 5 hours by car, split into two sections with a stop in Përmet. Explore the Vjosa River and Benja thermal waters, followed by gastronomy and serenades in Korçë.
Day 4 · Korce → Pogradec Lake → Tirane
Leave Korçë for Pogradec on the shore of Lake Ohrid, then return to Tirana.
